Privacy Notice in accordance with Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter “Regulation”), with regard to the processing of personal data of users accessing this website.

1. Data Controller.

The data controller of the data provided by the user is Mr. Cazzago Giacomo, owner of Officine Cazzago Giacomo s.r.l., Via Rimembranze 10, 25038 Rovato (BS).

2. Type of data collected

a) Browsing Data

The computer systems and programs used to operate the site collect some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This category of data includes, for example, IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site.

(b) Data provided voluntarily by the user

No provision of personal data by the user is required to consult the site. However, the optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site, or the use of the “Contact Us” section, entails the acquisition of the sender’s address and the data entered by the user, necessary to follow up on the requests sent.

3. Purpose and legal basis for processing

Browsing data (point 2, lett. a) are used in order to:

  1. collect data and information in an aggregate and anonymous form only in order to verify the proper functioning of the site;
  2. collect data and information in order to protect the security of the site (spam filters, firewalls, virus detection) and users;
  3. derive statistical information on the use of the site.

The data voluntarily provided by the user (point 2 letter b) will be processed in electronic and/or paper format by the Data Controller for the sole purposes related to the communication sent by the Data Subject. The data provided will not be transferred to third parties without first obtaining from the Interested Party the effective and unequivocal consent to the processing. The data acquired through the “Contact” forms of this site or through the sending of spontaneous e-mails to the contacts indicated on the same, are processed for the sole purpose of performing the service or performance requested.

In the event of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the site, the navigation data could also be used to ascertain responsibility.

4. Modalities of data processing

The processing of the user’s personal data is carried out, in accordance with principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency, by means of manual and/or computerized tools, with organizational systems related to the purposes of processing and in such a way as to ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of the data and the rights of the data subject.

In order to protect the data against destruction or loss, even accidental, and against unauthorized access or disclosure, security measures of a technical and organizational nature have been adopted.

Processing may be carried out with or without the aid of electronic or otherwise automated tools.

5. Communication of data

In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, internal subjects (administrative, commercial, legal, system administrators), who have been appointed as authorized processors for this purpose, may also have access to the data for the purposes of the processing itself.

The data collected may also be communicated to external parties (e.g. third party technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies), possibly appointed as Data Processors pursuant to Article 4, paragraph 1, point 8) of the Regulations, who work on behalf of the Data Controller and in accordance with its instructions, but exclusively for activities strictly related to the purposes indicated above (e.g., to ensure the operation of the Internet service, the management of the computer and telematic system).

6. Period of data retention

Browsing data (point 2, lett. a) will be kept, in accordance with the provisions of current legislation on the subject, for a period of time not exceeding that necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed and as better specified in the relevant extended information on cookies.

The Data Controller will process the data voluntarily provided by the user (point 2, lett. b) for the time strictly necessary to provide the requested service and as better specified in the relevant extended information notice.

7. Provision of data

The navigation data collected as part of this processing (point 2, lett. a) are strictly functional to the computer management of the site.

The provision of personal data voluntarily provided (point 2, lett. b) is optional and aimed solely at following up the user’s requests; therefore, failure to provide the necessary data makes it impossible for the Data Controller to respond.

8. Place of data storage

Personal data will be stored at the operating offices of the Data Controller and in the places, within the European Union, where the parties involved in the processing are located.

9. Rights of the data subject

The user may exercise certain rights with reference to the Data processed by the Controller, in particular, pursuant to Articles 15-21 of EU Regulation 679/2016, the user has the right to:

  • access personal data.
  • verify and request rectification of personal data
  • obtain the deletion (or oblivion) of personal data
  • obtain the restriction of the processing of personal data
  • obtain portability of personal data
  • right to object
  • file a complaint with the Privacy Authority (Garante della Privacy) or take legal action.

10. Methods of exercising rights

Users may exercise their rights at any time by sending:
